Hey guys,

Has anyone had luck replacing the AAA battery pack on their Mongoose with a lithium polymer? My battery pack is dead and I want to replace it with one. However, the smallest Lithium I can find is 74mm x 37mm x 10mm (FlightPower 800mah 2-cell) which is too big to fit anywhere on the car.

I've been running a GWS Lithium Polymer Battery for the last year in a 1/8th scale that has worked well.

GW/BP2S1P1050 It's a 7.4V/1050mah lipoly and it's dimensions are LxWxH is (63x37x10)

Thanks. But based on my calculations the stock battery location is only 57mm x 31mm x 27mm.

I'm wondering whether anyone has been able to fit a lithium polymer anywhere else.
