So my tire truer is on the way, what should i true a new pair of foam tires to for 1/10 nitro tc. they will be jaco nitro shoes. ive been running pre trued so far but i dont know what they are trued too. thanks.

On a touring car, racers normally true their tire to 61mm on the rear and 60mm or 59mm fronts depending on split your car requires.

That is a very good question! Thier is a few variables when it comes to truing tires. Are you on a track that has a lot of traction, or very little? What about shore and side bite? You will get the hang of what to do with your tires the more you run your car and find what kind of tire wear issues you will be dealing with. how long your mains are.....but for starters, start with 1.7 to 2.2mm of difference between front and rear size. KEEP A LOG OF TIRE WEAR AFTER EACH RUN! this information is critical for figuring out your tires for a main.
If you have a track with a lot of traction and low tire wear, you will want to run a smaller tire. A track with ok traction, you will want a taller tire so that you can get more side bite. Also, rounding the edges of the tire will make a difference in the way the tire will grip the track. A more rounded edge will be good for high bite tracks, and a more squar edge will be good for a loose, low grip track.
All this will come to you in time...for now, just have fun and everything else will come with experiance.
