Default Cheapo Temp Guns

You get what you pay for.
I have a buddy with one of these $40 Temp Guns, but in a Black case and it is off by 25+ Degrees, when checked against 2 different Exergens.
Even the Onboard Temperature Gauges are more accurate than that.

Is the MIP on board temperature gauge any good?

Hi popsracer,

You're the man! Thanks for pointing out. I am using the Exergen myself. People can spend hundreds of dollars buying expensive engine, but being stingy on the temp gun? hmmm... just don't get it.

Default Use Google

I don't remember how much I paid for my Raytek MT4 (notice that the one on ebay is MT2, no light), but it wasn't more than $70.

What I did before I bought was a seach in google for a cheap Raytek MT4.... like I did it and got this one:

http://www.officeshops.com/hobby/raytek.htm

I appology if I am ruining someone business, I am not doing "propaganda" for any firm or store. I understand how expensive our hobby is, and I only want that everyone has the best deal for his money.

I would definetly pay $1.05 more to have the MT4.

But you are right, for the MT2 you have a good deal. Sorry about that. Good luck.
