Default RR v. R rear suspension

The original R had the body posts mounted to a stationary shock stay and the RR [with change to the centax clutch system noted] kit's body post mounting was connected to the suspension.

Any + or - to either, or is it a racer's preference [knowing that the stationary mounting system usually offers a greater shock mounting flexibility]?

DONT KNOW ABOUT THE PARTS BUT IF SOME PARTS OF THE RR CAN STILL BE USED WITH THE NEW RRR THEN DEFINITELY THEIR PRICES WONT DROP JUST THE KIT BUT NOT THE PARTS

I believe couple of the elites had tried mtx3 rear upright conversion. They called it M1R/M1RR/M1RR evo, since manticore was the first to bring the idea here. You can do a search, if my memory serve me right, people who tried it love it.

I think that touring car bodies generate moderate down force and the way the're mounted makes little difference to handling, then again perhaps I can't tell the difference because I have never done consecutive trials.

What are you gonna do with your FW-05S then? PM if you are gonna sell it
with the VoneR you shouldnt buy upgrades for now just run the car as it is and get to know the car. And when your at the track if you find that you want it to go better you will be advised later by a person at the track. This way you will learn what the upgrades do for your car. Where as getting all the upgrades first you will not appreciate them as you wont know what it would of ran like before the upgrades! no parts that i found with my ex-VoneRR was brakeable

Engine side brace with belt tenionser, front cvd and centax clutch I think these are very good upgrade. The only thing I have replace on my v1r/rr are front belt, 18T pulley, 1 upper front A arm and the upper and lower front shaft after 2 years of running. :-p

Why not a V1rr or evo kit? They might be a better choice.

Talking Hello Boner...

Hello!

Thankyou for giving me your list of upgrades!

Where is the 18tooth pulley, would you have a part number?

I have decided to get one a V-one R, because I can get one for $240AU ($170USD). If I get good money for my FW-05S, I will be delighted to spend the extra money on a V-one RR or V-one RR Evolution series. But if i get more money, I will buy one of those kits.

Thanks, Aaron
