The EVO had it's first day on the track today. I was using the included 35 Shore tyres and had the rear shocks mounted in the upper hole on the lower arm. The following is what I've noticed/my observations...
In practice I went out with the new engine still running a bit rich and the thing that stood out most was the amount of steering it had
! Not just that, but comparing it to a V-One S it was as stable as... well... it was really stable
When the track warmed up a bit and once I got my head around the handling difference I could really push it hard and it was just SO easy to drive
I TQ'ed by a mile (not racing full-on Pro touring yet), this was against a Serpent Impulse, V-One S and a Thunder Tiger so it doesn't really count for much but hey
And then... wouldn't you know it.... just as we started the final it started raining
! Oh well I had a lot of fun and maybe once I get the engine tuned spot-on I'll test myself against the full-on Pro guys
I'm impressed.... well done Kyosho
