Yes this is very true, but at the end of the day it's the driver and the setup of the car. I totally agree that stopping chassis flex is a great key to setting up a good car. But at the moment I'm quite content to do a few race meets in box stock configuration. I have to figure out where to get the parts from at the best price and I'm pretty sure that involves dealing with stores overseas ( sorry local hobby shops ). Got a price list for the K-factory stuff for the V one series yesterday, some of the stuff is priced alright but some is a bit steep.
