Default top speed

just wondering if anyone has an idea of exactly how fast their car is going, top speed-wise, and what engine are you using?

FTI, I used some HPI black inserts

Why not invest in a fail safe unit for your car instead of gluing extra weight to your car to try and cushion the impact?

I never had a problem before and a tire insert does not weigh that much. I use a old fashion fail safe called a throttle return spring lol.but the insert thing was to keep good arodynamics at high speed insted of the noes being pushed in it stays the consistant. I might get a fail safe but not until i have another crash that is the first time in 2 years since i raced off road

I also recommend ensuring that the front of your body is hard up against the foam bumper. I use HPI inserts too This makes the body last alot longer and prevents a lot of cracking through the top of the front wheel arch. And like nova racers says it stops the body from flexing inwards when going real quick.

If anybody is after replacement bearings for the V1R I can definately recommend the Blue Bearings available from ebay. I have had mine for 4-5 months, never serviced or removed them, and only 3 of them are a little gritty feeling. The rest are perfect. Also none have broken on the outer casing like the original Kyosho units. Lastly and best is that they are fully user servicable. You can remove and replace the shields and even remove/replace the cage.

I picked mine up for about $25 which is a steal.

Hello all Been a wile sice I have posted.
Here is my question:

I am useing Kawahara Zac project Foams, and I do like these tyres alot but with using a front one way I have found that the hex on the rim gets all worn out before the tyre wears out
Has any one used another brand of foam that works as well and has a better rim.

Thanks

Hooked_on is the right person to ask as he is running a pull start on his V1R. Back a few pages and he has his V1RR pictures posted.
