td-civ....Give us a call at Schumacher USA and we can do our best to get you back up and running

Hey Doug....Thats great to hear I'm not sure about the oneway, but I've been putting alot of pressure on them to get those ASAP. We have had some good success with the locked diff trick of removing the diffballs and gluing sandpaper or card stock to the rings and then tightening the diff back down. The car is pretty good with a locked diff, but its faster with the oneway.

Hey Doug,

My car is almost finished! I just need to get my engine and build the shocks. I've been lagging a little, but it should be done by next week. The car goes together really smooth, diffs feel really good and I like the torx screws! If you can swing it, try making it to the gas nationals in August! Hope all is well!

My R12 is now ready for rubber tire racing, but may not be able to race it till after the Reedy race. Maybe by then the 1-way will be available so I can set it up for foam tire, which I would rather do anyway.

Default One-way + tight rear diff

Has anyone tried One-way in front + fixed rear diff in the R12?

Ran the R-12 for the first time today. ORL race sponsored by Trinity. Had a little trouble in qualifying. First round just was asleep. Started late but still ran 15 laps. Second Round ran a 24 lap run. Third round was on TQ pace at 28 laps then the pipe came off . Qualified in the B main 2nd. Smoked em in the main, 2 laps on the field on a A main run and the muffler fell off again. Ran it till the end and still won with a 24 lap run. Car was FFFAAAASSSSSTTTTT! Joel Johnson won the main. Said the car was VERY impressive. Was looking forward to running with him. Oh well next time. Think I am going to Weld the pipe and Header together.

The manifold. It looks like one that I believe Losi or Trinity released for 1/10 gas trucks. My question is, would a manifold made for other touring cars fit on the r12, or does the engine placement require this 'slimmer' manifold?

Just wondering.

The manifold is not "slim" at all. It actully is almost the size of a 21 manifold. But I think any manifold will fit the car.

Hi guys, my name is Patricio, im from Chile but im working on Brazil.

Here the national rules (IFMAR BASED 95%) ask for rubber tires (fowmas not allowed).

The schumacher car appeared on the last run of the Paulista's Championship and WOOW, the car made the pole without any problems. After that during finals the pilot had some problems with the engine and got off the race.

Anyway, im a Yokomo GT4-S fan and i run a Yokomo Car, but the Schumacher one looks very good, we will see if it comes out this weekend again ...
