does any one know ow to tune a Centax-style Adjustable Clutch ?

what are you trying to adj. and what car. onroad / offroad

tuning depends on a lot of factors, what car, what motor do you have first of all, and what problems are you having with the clutch.

it's on a 8th scale xr8 and the engines an os 21 vzb v-tec
have to ajust the tw speed after break-in!

the 2 speed and the centax clutch are two vary different things.. ones on the engine and one in the transmission... you need to go read the book..or read it agian..

the maybe ok the car doesn't start moving unil the rpm's are about a 1/4 ways up, the break is ajusted all the way down to the point where it's almost no break and also the 2spd is another story!

loosen your clutch nut about half turn out, and c what that does.

If you have just finished running in is the motor now tuned you need to get the tune right especially before changing the 2 speed. Yep clutch setup is important but at 1/4 throttle it's not too far off, are you gently bringing on the power or punching it. Check the temp of your clutch bell if it's hot it slipping and you need to wind out a little. But if the clutch is coming in too early your motor will bog out of corners etc. there is a thread elswhere with Mike Swagers article - it's useful.
