I was digging around in my closet and found an old copy of VRC ... When I logged on this is what is written about Ft Myers R/C Car track

Got some news ... Ran into a buddy of mine that has been doing a online RC
show called RCTV live check it out. www.rctvlive.com
We were up at the Bass Pro Outlets doing an RC exhibition and Jeff Maturo shows up, I haven't seen him in a dog's age, we used to race electric together in a publix parking lot ... years ago
Anyway long story short he's coming to the Winter Nats to film a show, so you cats that are coming to the Winternats may well show up on the tube or even an interview ...

Well it looks like we a have a Texas regime headed to Florida for the WinterNats. some of us haven't been before and were wondering about the small stuff. 1/8th Shore ratings, gearing, bodies etc. anyways, see everyone soon and thanks for any information.
