I have the Sirio .21 AAC and the Nova R1 for my 1/8 scale and find practical having those two engines for different track conditions:
Sirio lacks a little of grunt at low-end but really shines at high rpm (seems that never ends with the rpms). Good for low-traction tracks or where you don't have too much hairpins.
Nova R1 has everything Low, Med and High rpms. Is a more constant engine.
Use the two routinely at my local track without no problems. Only have a slight difference in gearing for all two that I find quite satisfactory.
Much probably is a matter of personal likings.
