I thought about it right after I posted, that since many people are using FASST or Spectrum these days, you really don't need to get to the reciever like you used to.

Racer . . . I think you are missing the point. Team Magic G4S was a simply amazing car. The fit and finish is unmatched by anyone. While I agree with you that $650 is a lot for a touring car. I must ask you . . . How much do you have in hopups in your current car?

buying a mugen or kyosho for $350 then adding $300 in hopups is not beyond question. What the G4S+ allows you to do is to buy the kit, plug in the radio and motor and you are set. NOTHING else is needed.

Well, it is up to the person running the kit if he wants to put about $300 worth of hop-ups. In my honest opinion, you really don't need hop-ups running the Kyosho V1RRR Evo WCE and it performs very well out of the box...

I agree with you. Heck I run a G4S RTR in addition to 3 G4S's decked out with every k-factory and TM hop-up you can find. At the end of the day, my driving is what makes me do well . . . . or bad.

If you don't want a limited edition car (celebrating 10 years for Team Magic) with all the hopups, then buy a regular G4S wich is also fast out of the box. The G4+ is not a replacement for the G4S, merely a car that comes out of the box with all the hopups. Sure the car has some mechanical updates but these will be incorporated into the G4S in the future.
