Default Kyosho fw 05 questions

I just got one, but I am not sure which version it is. 1st question is did I get a good deal? $75 rtr Next question is what would cause it to pull badly to right when accelerating? It is terrible. It makes it very hard to control when accelerating from a dead stop. Any advice would be appreciated. I will try and get some pics put up soon.

I had one of those kyosho plastic blocks inside the front diff, which is should have mind you. But after a while they get worn out and what happens is that you only get drive to one of the front wheels and that caused my car to pull one way when accelerating and braking. Just replace the block or do what I did and put the gears inside and make it a proper diff.

Does it only pull right on acceleration or all the time?

Shaft drive cars have a certain amount of tourqe steer, mine used to pull badly changing from first to second gear...

Put in a one-way if you're running foams

I run at Wynnum using rubbers. Its a concrete track and quite technical so brakes for me are a must.

Thanks for the input guys. I will check and see what it has in the front. I am running rubber tires, and when it gets up to speed it straightens out.
