Thanks for tips again Zootcapri. I was testing my Inferno VE based GT Ferrari today, it was ballistic having a gear a box etc. It was the 1st time I took a car out this year.. BTW Haven't ever seen such a fast RC car yet in my life, way faster than my fuel sedan.
Let's see if I can do some running with this one tomorrow. I pretty excited with this one, too.

At my work.. outdoors parking lot underground, no gravel, almost dry, dusty.. GTe was crazy fast.. unfortunately too wet (rainy) today, so I skipped testing the Spada.

Fun! Fun! Fun!
Got to run-in the engine today and run 3 three tanks on our cleaned yard from gravel & dust.
Sirio 09 worked very well right from the start. It showed good amount of power, too, when leaning it out gradually. Everyhting worked well actually. It was much fun!!
One thing I noticed though; the bearing that holds the center axle dropped off onto the rear axle.. I put it back easily, but now I'm wondering if it will happen again.. Any thoughts on that?

I am confused? Are you talking about the center shaft or the rear axle? I haven't had any bearing come out of place. I had a bearing in the clutch bell go out and strip some spurs. If you swapped the SD002 'suspension' mount in the rear and had the left in the right then there is no retention for the bearing... but i think it would be hard to switch them. Clarify the question part about 'center axle' and 'rear axle' and I will try to help.
Glad to hear that you had some run time. Yep... they are fun. This coming Saturday I will run the Spada against 1/12th electric pan cars... I hope to get some video...

Hi, the center-most shaft. There's a bearing inside the bulkhead. Well, I will monitor it... Cheers

My bad.. I changed the center bulkheads from side to side, now the bearing lip is on the inner side of the car (chassis) and prevents the bearing dropping off. I didn't realize this when I built it.. now it's fine. Cheers
BTW, what plugs are you using?

Oh man, gotta tell how much fun this small car is!! Run it anywhere, small area, large area, track.. so much fun! Maybe not quite as fast as my RRR but the fun factor is definitely there Puts a big smile onto the face like Zootcapri told earlier..

I like it when I am right
I took the Spada to the races yesterday... hit a wall in the sweeper at the end of the straight and broke a steering arm... and left the parts kit home.... Bummer... Still fun putting it on a track and running.
Mika... glad you like it.

Indeed.. What do think of putting the front suspension springs on bottom side ? Similar to the rear has. I did it but haven't tried it yet.

If you look at my car you'd see that I am the king of 'lets try this' so... moving the spring placement would be a good 'experiment'...

Hehe.. I have somewhat noticed that ..
Let me know once you've tried it, ok
Waiting to test it myself.

Improved air filter.. I cut an outer filter from .12 foam filter
I noticed gas & brake works best if you leave out the collar here (circled on the photo below) and put some grease inside the brake link.
This keeps the residue out, as advised by Zootcapri..
Cheers
