wow.......They should have given this car a chance
Kyosho felt it was better to give the US products that don't sell well if at all more than to give us something that would. Many that I have read that have the car love it. I guess Kyosho made it up to us in the states with the Inferno GT cars but it still would have been nice to offer the Spada here to at least see what kind of interest there would have been.

yeah but last year they should have noticed that budget spec racing was taking off ..USVTA...rcgt....and all kinds of parking lot tracks w/ fresh smooth asphalt gained way more popularity then major onroad events

Does Anybody of you now a shop where to get the Charge engines and what they will cost? Otherwise, is there an other engine to get except the Sirio 09R? I found it on the charge-rc site, but i cannot read the japanese or chinese signs.

I tuned my engine and it runs much faster than the stock ones but there might be some other options to get.

I'll check on the Charge engine. Japanese site I use has them. Not sure if in stock though.

Have a nice day
Nice car but that makes yours an electric version of the nitro version of the original electric car, the Fantom EP. I'm sure it runs great on asphalt but for carpet, its overkill. I thought about bringing out my Fantom EP or my Hirobo Ashura out and putting BLs in them to run on carpet, but there's so much traction, my 2wd 1/12th is probably just as fast or even faster. Would very much like to see Kyosho come back to electric 1/12th again. They had some nice cars back in the day.

Default Eagle Racing Spada Chassis

Hey Guys,

Came across this for the Spada. Looks like a great aftermarket chassis

Hey Guys,

Here's a few pics of the Eagle Racing Chassis. It's an awesome upgrade for the Spada. It's just as thick as 1/10 nitro chassis and it's supper stiff. Looks great also.

Talking 1/12th nitro kyosho spada

Yeah dude i hear you!! I cant wait to get one!! The way i see it is these babies would be a perfect entry level nitro racer for beginners, not too many adjustments to get 'lost' with, and very affordable.<$800 (Spada, radio, and starter box) No one wants to know about the sport when you tell them they will need $1500+ (car kit, engine, pipe, starter box, radio etc..) to set up 1/10th to be competitive! I also think the assemby benefits of the kit make for a true understanding of the handling characteristics of the car over RTR cars. Lets face it some of the RTR kits are a bit slap happy. Or maybe im a bit fussy? I have seen some RTR 1/8th buggies that were less than desirable over the years. I gunna try and get somethin 'Spada' goin down my way!!
Just my views, thats all!

Yes, they are very cool. There are a group locally which play the 09. And seeing 15-20 of these little gas car running bumper to bumper is really something.

I've talked to the Kyosho America guys before about the Spada. It seems that they have no interest in marketing that car in the U.S.

In order for races to happen, there need to be enough people running them who "want" to race. I say this because its like F1 electric, people buy them but that doesn't mean they're interested in racing them hence to low turnout for electric F1. The same can be expected if there were a Spada class.

I think the Spada is the perfect entry level car for Nitro on road racing, simple but effective! Not too many adjustments to get lost with and gr8 value for the beginner! Kyosho and Sirio gr8 Quality too!
Gunna do my best to get them racing DOWN UNDER!
