I have 2nd gear stripping problem and till date i still do not know what is the problem. I have changed and check everything from bulkheads, bearings, clutch bells, gear meshing, engine screws mounts, stiffer chassis, single engines mounts.. but still strip.

But i am trying the new spurs and 2-speed thing and it seems to last a little longer. I wonder if there was any quality issue with the older spurs.

Hope this helps.

I tried every suggestion everyone had and nothing fixed it until I bought a 4mm chassis. Now I can even put a little slop in the mesh and it still won't strip.

yeah I did strip one actually. Try the new mugen spurs, suppose to be harder material. Also make sure you set the mesh with 1st gear off the car. Another suggestion make sure the screws that hold the engine mount are totally square with each other

What can cause the rear belt to strip? I lost 2 rear belts in one gallon of fuel.

I would still buy the 4mm chassis from Mugen or the Kawahra that Mugen sells. I also woukld try buying the YBSLOW chassis brace KIT, that workes well at least at our track. (speedworld) my2cents

Whats up Big Dog, this is Billy from SpeedWorld. Why are you selling. PM me and tell how much you want for it. We are Mugen and Serpent country out here. I still keep trying to push the NT1 & Kyosho out of the store. I like it to have a little of everything racing at the track.

Lance where you get them from and how much damage is it going to be , just got my new Radio (T3pk with spektrum) came with a lippo batt, but noticed it doesn't have the balancing lead fitted, got te car sort of sorted out now, was clutch settings, replaced with ultra hard spring, grey shoe and also fitted the new option 2 speed, seems fine now and the engine sounds a whOOOOOle lot better
