Too bad ..... only 3 mtx4 left active in my hometrack.

[ and 1 mtx3 if I decided to go racing with it ].

The rest are using NT1 and RRR EVO.

However for 1/8 racing scene, about 20 cars are Mugen Seiki MRX4, R, X.

It use to be MTX country here in Texas for a while. Then everyone jumped ship to Kyosho. Now, they jumped ship to Xray due to RC America being here in Dallas (where I currently live). The MTX-4/4R still holds its own against the NT1, but only three racers on the Texas circuit still run Mugen (myself included).

Mine is actually a MTX-4 from the first batch that they sent to the states when the car came out. Mine is basically bone stock except for the front CVDs and the aluminum brace on the right side above the clutch bell. Many of my fellow racers are amazed that I can hang with them (when I am not making a ton of mistakes) with a bone stock car (many of theirs have tons of hop-ups on them no matter what brand they run). I just like the fact that you can run an out-of-box Mugen cheaper than many of their competitors (which leaves more money for fuel and race engines).

Default Front diff

Does anybody know where to buy front diff parts? Or, is there a diff from another car that fits?

the metal parts ( gears, pins, washers ) are the same if you collect them from rear diffs internals from mtx3, mtx4.

the differences are : front axle outdrives (2) , and mtx4 front diff box housing (1 bag consist of pulleys, front diff and rear diff ).

...... I have brand new zac kawahara front oneway multi diff system [ solid oneway, normal oneway, spool ] for sale if anyone interested.

The diff gears for building the front diff for the MTX4 are the same internal diff gears used by the MBX-5. So, if you can't find them in MTX packaging, you can use the older 1/8th scale buggy gears.
