Sorry to bring this up as I think this post has been lost with all the replys..
Question:
How do i make the bodyshell to have higher downforce but yet comply with the rules for 200mm?
I only know the easy way out by having a bigger wing, but that would contravene the rules right?

Beyond taht it starts getting a bit funky. I read a great article on rc car bodies but I cant seem to find it again, the two tips I remember are these
Ground effects: by bending the lower part of the body behind the rear wheel out, a vortex will be created on each side of the car that will suck it to the ground - if you look on the is250 body it has these moulded in
Wing holes: Some bodies (protoform mazda 6 190mm for example) have pre marked oval shaped slits running across the wing on the horizontal part before it bends upright. I can't remember the scientific explanation for the effect they create but net result is more downforce.
Interestingly, my first clutch bell touched but the ones I've ordered since haven't. I dunno if I'm doing something different when meshing (doubt it) or perhaps mugen reduced the clutch bell diameter slightly without telling anyone

The wing has to be inline with the roof, so you can drop the rear down on the mounts and run a higher wing, though the easiest way to increase downforce is to use a different body. The active SPL is very good, as is the kawahara is250.

Who stocks the is250? Thinking of trying one of these next year

Hey all. With the end of my local track's season coming up, going into the off-season I am looking into a new mill for my MTX. I have been running a rebuilt OS TZ12 I bought from a guy at our track. I was thinking about getting the OS Speed 12TZ Spec 2 motor since I have had good luck with O.S. thus far. I am also considering a Novarossi motor. Do any of you have any experience or knowledge of the OS Speed 12TZ Spec 2 motor or any opinions? Also any recommendations of Novarossi motors? Thank you in advance for any information any of you can offer.
