AMB Pers Transponder

Just installed the AMB personal transponder but have a problem. Instructions say "the LED on the transponder should be green while the radio receiver is turned on."

After I installed using the 3rd channel of my Futaba system I get an orange LED.

I've sent e-mail to AMB, but no answer. Any help from those who have experience with these would be appreciated.

Thanks

You should be fine with the Orange colored LED.
Some does come with the green and some with
the Orange and some in red but they are the
same and works the same. When they changed
the LED colors, their instruction manual was not
updated but that's quite okay..

Hope this helps, :)

Thanks to each of you for your reply. I didn't think this could be too complicated, and thanks for you help.

Randman,

There is a person selling them for $65 each including shipping. Here is the link to the page. Drop him a PM and see if he can give you a deal. His name is MaxPower.:

Just as an FYI

having personal transponders is great

i never would have thought it would make such a difference on race day not having to go get one before each round

but it does make racing so much simplier

plus it always seemed that the regular transponders would screw up just when it mattered most

I have two (Xray and Ofna OB4), they work awesome and best is you can use it at any track that uses the AMB software :)
