The RS3 and RS5 are rated at the same horsepower.
However the RS5 is a 5 port with turbo plug.

ROAR only allows 3 ports with regular (non-turbo) button head,
so the RS3 is hand modified by STS for maximum 'legal' power.

I would say they are about the same power, but I would go with the modified RS3 for tunablility and if you were ever to run a ROAR sanctioned race...

to find out if their price is backed up by performance.?

I dont think people would mind paying more for a motor
for as long as you get what you pay for. But I wonder if
this is another motor that is Over Rated.?
Pixie is overpriced. It is no faster in stock form than a STS unless you are a VERY skilled engine tuner. The sweet spot is tiny on the pixy and changes with the weather (well, most engines due, but this one is quite finicky). When not in the sweet spot it's a strong motor, but no stronger than your average race .12, probably even weaker than mr12 and sirio. Add to the fact that the pixy is much heavier than other .12's and you're better off saving your dough. I have one that is pretty fast, but only on a good day when I hit upon a good tune (and mine has been modified). I've raced other pixie's with my stock mr12 and walked away from them.

Default RS3

How long has this RS3 been out ?

Looks pretty nice, the porting of the sleeve and the teardrop on the crank seem to be the areas that the engine manufacturers are copying from the true engine modification specialists.

Richey, JP, etc....
