Brake/2-speed Axle One-way Pulley Set
Team Xray came out with a middle one-way pulley for their T2 in December. Team Serpent announced a 2-speed axle one-way pulley for their 720 in February and it appears to be working really well. Are there any other cars with a mid one-way pulley like this?
More info on both can be found at RedRC.net:

Kyosho used to make on for the GP-10. Quite a few people ran it with success in the Kyosho Cup.

The Yokomo BD 1/10th touring EP sedan has one i believe..

Other than reduced driveline resistance, in theory, how is this system different than just running a one-way assembly in the front end? Won't the braking functionality be the same?
Or am I missing something here?

there was a discussion on this part on its functionality at the 720 thread after serpent released its brake pulley adaptor one-way set. i've talked to people who have used the part and the say it makes the car run smoother on corners it evens out wear of front and rear tires.
