Default gears

i have a hpi nrs4 3 type ss i just curious what the best combination spur gears and tranny gears i can run i do run on track in a parking i do want a little more in take off but do not want to lose my top speed i was thinking of using 19t and 23t and for my spur gears i was thinking of using 39t and 43t give me some advice thank you

i dont know what gears it uses now but

if you want the same top speed leave second gear alone

if you want more acceleration you want to use a smaller clutch bell gear and/or a larger spur the opposite is true if you want more speed but less acceleration

you are suppose to keep the same amount of split between the gears meaning that if there is 4 tooth difference between spur gears there should also be a four tooth difference between the clutch bell gears

that is done so that the proper gear mesh is able to be accomplished on both first and second gears
