MTX-3 Reciever Battery Charger

Can anyone recommend a cheap, good quality charger & discharger for the Mugen 730 Racing Pack NiMH.

I have one the the JR-R1 charger that chargers the 6v Nicad stick pack for the MtX-2. I doubt this would work right?

Thanks for your help.

i have a hangar 9 double vision

it was pretty cheap like $60 i think

you can charge radio reciever pack and glow charger all at same time

never have had any trouble from it in over a year

Try MRC Super Brain 959, it is a decent charger for it's price and you can charge TX, RX also glow ignitor too. It has both DC and AC input. Most LHS should sell them for around $49.99.

We either of these two, do I need to buy additional adapters to charge the reciever pack, transmitter, glow plug, or does it come with them already?

Thanks for you replies

No none of them come with adapters nor does any other charger that I know of. What you will have to do is make your own by buying an "Aileron Extension" and cutting off the male end then splice the wires. You clip on the alligator clips on to respective wires and charge. It may not look "clean" but that is the way everyone I know does it and they've never had a problem.

the hangar 9 double vision is specifically designed to charge a reciever pack ignitor and radio it comes with all of the plugs needed already it is really simple and works very well

i used to have a novak millenium it worked but it was far more complicated so when i sold my electric cars i bought the double vision
