This Sunday is the first club race of the season at Toledo so some of us lucky guys get to start practicing for the GLC this weekend.

Can't wait, I think it is the first day predicted to be over 70 degrees in at least six months!

The Official Entry Form for the 2007 Great Lakes Challenge is now available. You can access the entry form by visiting the One Eighth Racers of Toledo's website or simply click link below. File is slightly large so download may take a few seconds.

Sent out my entry.

I think Detroit is the closest major airport.

I have not flown into the Toledo airport myself. But Detroit Metro airport is about 45 min to 1 hour away. Detroit metro airport has easy freeway access to head down to Toledo (using I-275 south to I-75 to I-280). I think its around 40 miles.

Plus I think you can probably find cheaper airfare flying into a major airport than a smaller one like Toledo. But you never know with rates these days. Try both online but Detroit I think will be the cheaper route.

Thumbs up

What's up Brian?

When I booked my ticket online last night, it was $120.00
less to fly to DTW / Detroit rather than Toledo direct on AA.

Dropped my entry off at the Post Office last night as well.

Looking forward to my 1st trip to the GLC.

See ya!

I really cant wait. Normally after I leave a few days after I am anticipating my return to the track. I think I will miss Josh not being in the mall but as long as he brings gear out I guess things'll be just fine.
