BMT 1/8th

Can anyone help me with some info ( manual, exploded view, ...) for this car
It was advertised as a BMT Blitz 3-gear tuning with Novarossi Engine. Don't know exactly what model it is, but maybe someone on here can help me out? thanx Gwen |
Looks like a 931 from the days of Ralph Burch running for BMT. I'd check with the guys at Speedline. Mike Queller used to be the BMT go to guy.
|
Tony, Thanx. But the 931 is a 1/10th car, and it's a 1/8th. Or am I mistaking?
Anybody ever hear about Hashimoto racing? I just did a google on BMT 931, and this site came up ? http://www.hashimotoracing.com/j/parts_t.html OK, in Japanese, but they do export, so I send them a mail... ;) G |
I think that one is a 891.
I have one of those on. My used to have a 3 speed gerabox!!! :sneaky: I will try to get a picture. |
BMT
Its an easy car to work on, what info do you need?
|
Anything that came with it originally. Any manuals, etc...

Also,
what kinda wheels do I need for this? Are these Serpent style wheels with the quick release or the standard hex (17mm ?) G |
You will need BMT wheels. Check with Mike Queller in TX, he may have some old BMT stuff.
|
What a flash back! I have a bunch of tires from when I used to run this car. Let me know if you want me to dig them out and see what I have.
|

That car is a BMT Austin Lite model. It was a just a more lightened version of the 1991 Austin car used at the Austin, Tx 1:8th Worlds illustrated in the images here .
The 891 cars (first BMT) all had red plastic parts on shocks, tank, etc... The Austin and Austin Lite had green parts. |
Thanx
