they run mega zx21 and mega DSll no mods to motor and no mods to flywheel they will supply fuel for the heats and mains everyone in spec will run from the same bottle, you will come up to thr pit table with an empty botlle and leave with an empty bottle, for pratice you can buy a gallon at a good price I will try to get the spec rules posted asap.

Here you go Scott!
The following Engines are approved for the 2007 Texas Biggie 1/8 Spec class:
Mega ZX21 Race
Mega ZX21 DSII
Mega ZX21 DSII+
The spec class rules used at the BIGGIE are the same as the SWCS.
ZX Series -SWCS Spec Class Rules
1) All entrants must use engine's specified above.
For 2007 the specified engine's are those listed above. No modifications to
these engine's are allowed. Head shims may be adjusted and carb restrictors
may be interchanged, only.
2) All entrants will use the same specified fuel.
For 2007 the specified fuel is BK Racing 30%. Entrants will approach the hot
pits with an empty fuel tank and empty fuel bottle. Fuel for racing will be
available from common containers on the hot pit tables as provided by the
local fuel supplier. Entry fee will be $5 additional for this class to cover fuel
costs. Practice fuel of the same brand / specification will be available at the
track for $20.00 a gallon. Also note, area on entry form to reserve Qty of
Gallons.
3) Any entrant’s engine can be claimed after the final event.
Any entrant can claim another entrant’s engine by presenting the $325 cash
claiming fee to the race director within 10 minutes of race completion. The
engine is torn down and examined for modifications. If the engine is determined
to be illegal by the Tech reps on site then the fee is returned to the claimer
and the illegal engines entrant is disqualified. If the engine is legal it is then
presented to the claimer and the claiming fee is given to the claimed competitor
so that another engine may be purchased.
4) Specialty parts. Lightened flywheels and clutch bells are not allowed.
