Starter Box problems :(
One of my motors in the starter box blew, so I decided to replace both with a RS-550SH-7522 MABUCHI. However after soldering it on and make sure it spins the wheel. I place the car back onto the starter box and re-aligned. However if I try to start the car it the box makes and funny sound and it moves the flywheel about 1/2 inch and just makes the flywheel vibrate
My engine, is not brand new and there is some resistance to the flywheel if I try turning it with my hand? Any suggestions? Is the wheel spinning the wrong way? Thanks Sami |

Sounds like your have the wires hooked up backwards on the new motor. |

Thanks for the reply, how do I know if it spinning the right direction?
At the moment I have following wiring diagram, how would I change so it spins the other way. Sorry for the crude diagram. Thanks Sami |
The starter box donut should be spinning towards the front of the car. If it's not you can reverse the direction by either swapping pos/neg on the battery (no ower panel box) or by swapping positive negative on the motors themselves.
