I think the engine in my Nitro RS4 RTR 3 is broken. Does anyone know of a compatible engine that is non-pull start and a better muffler. I hate having to yank that cord...

I just bought and ran a new 2003 Fantom .15 Side Exhaust in my Super Nitro.
You can get them with P/S or without, they are Standard Crankshaft (so they will fit the HPI) it will bolt right in without any new parts needed. You can add a new Pipe and Header later.

Just a thought.

I'd throw a Novarossi CX-12 in there.

Faster than any .15 "sport" engine you're going to find, and durable to boot.

Whats the biggest engine you can fit in the RSA 4? Also where can i get upgrades like chassis and stuff for the car? I want to take my car to a new level this summer and I could use some help with where to get parts and stuff.

Technically, you could put in OFNA's .25 and any other .21 (or .15) big block engine with a simple conversion, but don't.

Stick to small block engines, (.12-.18), with .15 such as the Fantom and OS being the most popular and amongst if not one of the best for it.

If you want to take it to the next level, just stick to stuff like a two speed, a better engine, pipe & manifold and the such.
