Do not take apart you're radio ........ please........

step away from the radio.
if you have very little knowledge of electronic I STRONGLY advise you to put back what you have removed and hope it still works, I have that radio and it's not one you want to mess around with if you do not know what your doing,replacing a broken throtttle spring is all i would do to mine, anything else and back to the factory it will go.
If you have a few $100.00 to blow, by all means go ahead and rip away, but do not think that futaba is going to fix your mess for free if it's messed up.
you can kiss your waranty bye bye if you do what your planning on doing....

kaikiok;

I've repaired the Steering wheel centering springs on 2 Futaba 3PDFM's.
Not a job for the faint of heart, heavy on the soldering iron. It's like delicate micro surgery.
