Default 235mm 2wd setup help

Can anybody help me with the initial setup for a 2wd serpent impact. I built one out of spare parts that i plan on racing in the cincinnati and toledo area.

What im really curious about, is whether i should set the car up with a floating rear end. Should i run swaybars from or rear?

General idea on what oil and springs to start with would be cool too.

Thanks to anybody that can help
jason

Here is a link for a standard set-up for the 835. You didn't say what diff you have, but I would recommend the FPS diff (if you don't already have it). I found the ball diff very difficult to set-up correctly.

Go to www.myrcworld.net and search for clubs that use the Impact.

Dave
and do what?

veesix already showed me serpents standard setup on that site...
problem is it doesnt say what kind of body the setup is for or whether or not it is for a floating rear end.

Ive been looking into getting an FPS diff. I may try it for a while with a ball diff if I cant find one used or cheap.

Thanks for the help though

Most run TC bodies in 2wd 235...I would think the set up is for them.

Make sure you have plenty of rear toe in....no rear bar, just the front one.

thanks for the help

I was pretty sure i needed a touring body, and i guess there is no point setting it up with a floating rear end then...

look under the setups section and you can get any number of setups for both 2wd and 4wd
as regards to bodies most 2wd cars use the GTP bodies those are IFMAR rules
