Of course I will change the receiver pack to the AAA cells. So I will lost about 60g.

So I can lower the CG with the tank and I can put some weight to the front.
Naah man, just go all the way ... go LiPo!

Also, at the 301 race, car was stock other than the rear sway bar. Running Futaba S9451 and S9550, car was 1760gr. Now the car is back to stock and runs better than with the "other" sway bar I was using. This weekend, at our club race, chassing Paulo and swapping around 2nd with Gianni, the car was awsome.

I did learn something important this weekend about the car. Use the parts that are TRUE Xray parts. I tried something to get 16gr of wieght out of the car and it bit me at the end of the race, 1min 18 seconds left. Never again will you see anything but genuine Xray parts on my NT1......(other than Ti screws) I ended up dropping back to 5th.

TeamGP....Lipo batteries are good and all, but ever seen one explode or catch a car on fire? I know of 2, just not the way I want to see my car come in on the hook.....

@ rmdhawaii:
Stock foam bumper - 11.5g / 0.4oz
Optional hard foam bumper - 31g / 1.1oz

...but I put one on my car anyway .

"Kissing"

Sooner or later, I think he is going to succumb to the power of the dark side.

Harry, that's not a stock R40, with "stock" size components and parts, right?

How does that contradict Mario's statements that seems to have made you so bitter, its not like it's a whole new car.

Speaking of weight though, at the capitol classic my car needed 25 grams added, I was running the light parts but atleast let me put the weight where I wanted.
What Up Bobby Good luck @ the GLC will hook up @ the Nat's & I will bring an extra lighter for you LOL

Default Stock NT1 gearing question

New to nitro, about to be new to NT1.

Somewhere in this thread I saw people talking about the stock gearing, what size/type track do the EXPERIENCED nitro drivers feel the stock gearing suits.

I building an order for parts and don't want to get all of the spurs and pinions for only one track for the rest of this year.

Any help is greatly appreciated!
