I don't know when the spring sets are going to come in, but all of the different front spring pairs came in and are shipping to dealers now.

I've got my car assembled and ready for its first racing action tomorrow. I race on an average sugar water sprayed parking lot track. I'm relatively new to onroad, but I'd rate traction as med-low and a little bumpy here and there. I looked on the xray forum for setups, and gleaned what I could from any setups that where loose, and/or bumpy.

Any suggestions?

Thanks. I appreciate the input. I really like the way Xray posts the setup sheets on their site, just not enough of them quite yet...

Do you guys race NT1 with the same shore for front and rear tires ? Or do you guys prefer to use one grade harder for the rear ?

( Without the existance of one way in NT1 ...... I think the rear and front tires will rotate differently after 15 minutes onwards. When that happens, I wonder the driving feeling would remain the same or no ?? )

My car is 50% done.

By the time you're 100% done you will see that the recommended stock set-up is 40 rear and 38 fronts.

I'm running Kfactory tire you need to calculated the usaged per your run and true the tires per that. for example I use .5mm per 5 mins on the front, and 1mm per 5 mins on the rear. The track I run at is hard on foams... So I start the race with 2 more mm in the rear then the front, and we run 20 mins.

On the front, run the spool (solid) setup. No diff.... I also would not running the one way either....

how this helps...

Ralph was saying that he and Mark changed very little on his car from the last couple races and says it should be a very solid 'base' setup. Barry and Bobby both copied Ralph's car, as others may have done, but they should be posting their setups in the XRay forum soon.

Same here in the US.

I raced the NT1 for the first time today. Previously I was racing a G4S. I've got more chassis tuning to do, but so far its awesome. During the first practice I had a brand new set of Kfactory foams on 40F(don't have any 38s, on the list), 38R. Even with the new 64mm, or whatever the Kfactorys are, acceleration was great. After trueing the tires down it was phenomenal.

The lack of drivetrain drag took me a while to get used to also. I had to adjust my cornering style a little, but I got faster as the day went on.

By the end of the day I felt almost as comfortable with the NT1 as I did with the G4S. And loved the fact that off the line its like a rocket. Holeshots are cool

The NT1 gets an A+++ from me.
