the 353 is one of the top engines you can buy(make sure you buy the 2009 though) as for exaust its up to the track and you, meaning that if you want to make 5 min then the ideal pipe yould be the 2601, if you want more power then the 2630 is the one that you are looking for but will be drinking your fuel in order to deliver the power.

yes, the novarossi 353 is a fine and powerfull engine for competition but it is pretty expensive. Most of the people running the 353 are using the 2630 exhaust.
An interesting alternative is the Novarossi NS12TS1 (2008) or the N12T1 (2009).
These engines are less expensive but fast enough. The fuel consumption is very low - you should reach 6 to 6:15 minutes while the 353 must be refueled after 4:45 and 5:00.
We did test on a (faster) racetrack. With a 353 comparable Nova engine the best lap was a 14.0 and with the NS12TS1 a 14.2 sec (on a NT1).

Perhaps this help you to find the right engine.
Hi Hamfri,
Thank you for that extra info !
Do you drive the NS12TS1 ot N12T1 with the 2630 exhaust as well as an ideal combination ?
And if i buy the 353 race 09 with 2630, what manifold is best, the 5 fins or 6 fins please ?
Greetings,
Christoph

that depends if you want more bottom end/acceleration or top end. use the 5 fin for top end and 6/7 fins for bottom end, this mostly depents on the track layout
nice video I will post a video of my g4rs 2009 soon you going to love it.
