OMFG, you are right.

BUT, I just looked at the outlines again and saw that the wheels HAVE TO BE the same than on the Mugen MTX2, so I think they'll re-release the MTX2 with spring steel CVD's!

How's that for an outline-guess?

Oh and Rc-Alan, chill bro.....
If Xray posted it on there offical site....its a done deal. If they put Spring 07....it will be at or near that time line.
The T2 was listed to come out and a time line was posted well before the car was photographed. The car came out about one week late do to some Customs issues.
Sometimes I forget patience doesn't grow on trees.

they stress on the website how they are inovative, and the silhoutte picture doesn't show much of a engien shape at all,...i recon it might even be a lay down engine!

at the worlds in brendale all manufaturers had issues with CG issues, and the heatsink causing traction rolling due to the high mass of weight. they were cutting the heatsinks down...so if i was a designer, i'd be considering lowering the CG of a nitro first thing

im a dead set mugen fan, but xray is the bomb.

That silhouette pretty clearly shows the heatsink vertical, so I don't think that's it. The heatsink is the grey lines to the middle left of the pic. the pic has the rear of the car to the left.

wow,
that pic reminds me of the mtx4 layout.
but then again, it shouldn't be such a surprise that the design is very close to what the big 3 have out there

lol go xray. kyosho/mugen NT1. ....the kyosho and mugen have soem very similar design elements anyway. i'm sure the small things that seperate a great car from a excellent car will be looked at closedly by xray. looks like a safe and secure first step into nitro. at least they didn't copy the serpent!

Mr. Shookie... Do I hear a Parrot???

I wonder if Barry Baker is going to race the NT1 or just stay 1/10 scale electric? If he does race it, that would be great news for 1/10 scale nitro... Looking forward to seeing this car in capable hands when it's released in the future...

The car should be debuted at the 2007 Winternats by the Xray team in Feb. since the whole Xray team is signed up for the 1/10 class...
