I wish there was a smarter connector or tool that made it easier to remove the connector from the receiver. I'm always worried that I'm going to break something - like a wire or a pin.

I always install a switch on all my cars, but that's just me. I would do the direct connect to the receiver, but it's such a pain to pull the connector out all the time - and a real problem if you're using a receiver cover.

If you have the male/female extension it stays connected to the RX. You unplug it outside of the RX box ala G4S. It's something thats been around before the G4S, but TM made the little mount for the female connector. You can do the same with double sided tape or shoe goo.

I'm using these Parson's Safety clips when I need to join connectors. I'm just so paranoid that something will vibrate itself loose and I'll have a runaway.

Thanks Gary, that clarifies things a bit. Attaching one side to something didn't really cross my mind. It is certainly an excellent idea.

Team Magic's plug is a smart design for switch on/off.. I glued a small zip tie end into the empty slot in the plug and it's easier to remove the plug..
