Talking Custom made FW-05RR 2 cylinder 1/10 touring car, NOT TWIN ENGINE!!

The car was based on the Kyosho FW-05RR.

First of all, this is NOT a twin engine touring car like in the monster truck you see nowadays.
This is an actual 2 cylinder (Inline-2) just like in an aircraft RC

The total engine displacement is 4.22cc. It is water cooled and the tank has 50cc capacity. Took about 4 month to complete this and goes around 40-50km/h (approx 25-30mph) so it's not THAT fast but whatever
oh well, it's all about torque.

Here is with radiator and different water tank. So one of the fuel tank is actually a water tank

golgi and sinisterRC like this.

That is cool!

Why did you use the Kyosho FW-05 as a platform?

Dude I have looked at all your cars and the engineering and time you have put into them has really paid off. They are for lack of a better word, simply amazing. I am an engineering student so I have alot of respect for the ingenuity it must have took to make those things operate correctly. My hat is off to you sir. Congrats...

On that two cylinder engine you said it goes about 25-30 mph. With the kind of torque that 4.22 cc is putting out I imagine proper gearing could make it go a hell of alot faster. But I am sure you have already thought of that?

Your work looks great. However they all seem rather crowded. Perhaps you should work with a larger scale chassis like a 1/8th buggy for GT.

For more top speed why don't you change the gearing if there's plenty of torque in the reserve? Anyhow, a very cool project there.

Videos would be cool, too.
