Default 5-Port Modified w/Standard Plug possible?

Has anyone eve took a 5-port modified turbo plug engine and swapped the turbo plug button underneath the head for a standard plug button? Ever heard of that or know of why or why not it wouldn't work?

I've looked and I can't find a 5-port modified w/standard plug, so I guess this may be the only way to get it...

I have 2 different engines that I changed to standard plug buttons from a Turbo button and they run fine. One is a 7 port turbo, the other is a 3 port Turbo. A standard plug button should be less than $30 for most smallblock engines.

Yes, I've done it with an RB X12 3 Port and a Nova T5 Race engine. I will work fine. Just gotta tweak the needles.
