I'm having trouble keeping it running. I heat the engine before starting, start it up and it runs until the temp comes down, then it shuts off. I'm trying to break it in without causing any damage, but it won't stay running with the rich settings. Any ideas before I lean it out and destory my new engine ????

I went with the JP-4 exhaust system.

I always wrap the head with aluminum foil to keep the
temps up during break-in. That way you can run the
engine on the rich side and keep the temps up for
the first half a gallon of fuel. Then I don't race tune
until the engine has had at least a gallon of fuel ran
through it. It is a PITA to do, but your engine will
last for many gallons of fuel if you take your time
with the break-in.

Thanks for that tip! That's the first time I've heard about foil.

Well after checking the threads and talking to a few racers around the country, I purchased the DM-1. Did the RTR to get it up and running. Any sugestions for a starting set up 180 x 90 track and somewhat flowing but with some technical sections.

Thanks

Some of the Video is from the 1st Forgass race at Homestead Motor Speedway. The other portions of the video was taken at SS Speedway, in Tampa, FL.

I believe the Red Ferrari is Paul.
