I am sure there will be tons of the RTR owners out there that would be happy just to play with the car in the park. OFNA is just trying to offer up something different.

As you all know the percentage of all OFNA kits are for the street basher. Give them credit they are at least trying to give this hobby a kick in the ass. This hobby hasnt had anything to take off since Traxxas came out with the T-Maxx. So before anybody gives me crap about that i have worked in the industry for 18 yrs to back this up. So guys give this a chance if it works prices should come down and everyone will enjoy it Just my Opinion

I don't see anything wrong for a company to try out something different in the r/c industry. If anything, it'll help. Weather it be a RTR or a kit, its really up to the consumer to decide if he/she wants to take it up to the next level. Be a hobbiest or a racer, it doesn't matter want your intentions as long as your having fun. Ever opened up the Japanese R/C magazines ??? It just blows my mind when I see different scale cars being raced at tracks or just bashing around. Its great to see a change, especially if its appealing to the consumer.

AHH YEAH!! got some medail pros to go on my DM-1 and they have a low profile like my foams when I tru them, but I got to see how they work on the track but I think they'll work well. The diameter on these are 95.25, 60/35 compounds.

What do you use to true the 17mm foam tires. Hudy and Ofna tire truers are to small to be able to cut these 1/8 scale foam tires.

so here is a follow up to the last few days after having finished the DM1 kits.

all in all the kits went together well, the first version of instructions were a bit vague but after having talked to ofna they tell us they have new revised versions of them in all of the current kits.

i will be attaching pictures on here of all the tie rod lengths and the positions of the roll center inserts aand whatnot with specifics on where each of them should be approprietly placed according to ofna's testing results.

this weekend will be the first time running the kits on the track and we will have video for all to see come next week monday
