I tried the original clutch shoes in the "leading edge" configuration with the stock gearing. The car "hooked up" ok on coarse parking lot surfaces. On prepared race surfaces I really had to carefully open the throttle or the tires would break loose. I eventually slowed the throttle opening via the radio.
Now I am using the standard trailing edge configuration, moved up to 17/21 pinions and the car is more predictable out of the corners.
I really liked the acceleration with the 16/20 pinions.

I'm looking for set up suggestions for the DM1 spec RTR.

Also, does anybody have a set up sheet?

Thanks

I have the springs above but they are both the short springs. Don't need a longer spring for the rear?

Good to see that the GT class is still alive, we need to see our So-Cal GT drivers back running. GLARCRC will be holding it's next race at the Artesia Transit Center Jul. 25,26 2009. We are looking to jumpstart the GT class back down here in So-Cal so all you guys that have thosr cars, dust them off and come on out, shame to have that investment collecting dust!!

Do you happen to know the part number for the long white and yellow springs?

Thanks

Marcial,
see post #91 in this thread for one chassis set recommendation, and posts #53 and #54 for suspension linkage setup.

thanks to "vadn1" for originally pointing these posts out.
