MVR offers 2 types of shock towers. The front tower uses the shorter shocks, the rears use the longer DM-1 Spec rear shocks. If you are still confused best bet is to call them.

Same here. No big deal, I'll make them myself, using
the original DM-1 Pro shocks.

I just ordered a DM-1 spec last night. It should be here next week. Plan on running 1/8th GT open class with DM-1 spec and continue to run GT spec with my IGT2. Still debating on what engine to put in it been looking at LRP .28 spec 3, Picco .28 and OS .28 truggy version.

Go with a good .21 offroad engine ... in my opinion the best bet, here there couple of guys with high performance .21 onroad engines and others with .28's and the performance its the same or lower than good .21 offroad engines ... and .21's offroad have better fuel economy.

While your setting your gear mesh, also make sure that
the clutch bell bearings are in good shape and the upper
engine mount screws are tight. If your not running more
than one outer 5x8mm clutch bearing on your DM-1, you
are asking for gear mesh problems. That small bearing
takes alot of abuse.

The IGT2 Corvette body will not fit the DM-1 Spec car, properly.
