it doesn't say it's hpi because it isn't. you can find more info about gs cars here: http://www.gsracing.com/

Well if this is goin to be your 1st car, I rather you approach your local hobby store who carries HPI product to find out more, price might be better (save you some postage cost) furthermore after your purchase, you can alway refer back to them if you need help starting the kit.

I agree with black widow. HPI is a great starter car and the new EVO's are plenty fast for a beginner.
They are the best bang for your buck out there and very durable.
Also upgragable and lots of local hobby stores should have parts readily availbable should you need.
