maybe someone in Racine could contact the CVB (convention and visitor's bureau) to do something about the triathalon taking up all the rooms and high hotel rates?

We can try the squeeky wheel theory. Wisconsins tourist industry is huge. This is a chance for the Kettle Morraine region to get a piece of the pie.
Even the State campground is in on it. You pay the camping fee, and then you need a WI. State Parks use permit..$10
I'm still getting my tent out and gonna "rough" it.

Time to bump this up a little. Racine is just a little over 1 week away. Be sure to come and check out their new track location. For information and to pre-register for the race go to www.midwestseries.com.

Yes! It's on its way, The guy shipped it ups and didn't pay the $75(!!!) to get it here by tomorrow. I don't blame him. I did ship a large 12.5# box usps priority for $24..... Can't wait. It's my first brand new on-road kit.. Can't wait for Racine. Might even earn a few points!
What class you gonna run? ttyl

Default I wish

I wish it was nib. The guy put it together and never ran it. Now I have twice the work to take it apart and put it back together..
Ron says he can get parts. Not as readily as other brands though. This chassis is getting very popular, I don't think supports going to be an issue. And I don't think another updated car will be out anytime soon.

I heard the surface was smooth and not very old. I don't believe it has been sealed.

Default XRay

DP- I know where your going with this. All the major players are improving their cars. I just didn't want to get the MTX4R and see the MTX4RRR come out in 2 weeks and the RRR Worlds 2 weeks after that ala Kyosho.
Ira- Thanks for all your help the last couple of years with the Mugen. I came accross a deal on the NT1 and figured I try it. Now I can bug Espo for info and tips See ya Sat. Nick
