I drive to Florida to run a good race. Even when Angel, Robbie and all those guys in Cali kicked my arse didn't matter because at the end of the day I look back at the firends I laughed and joked and BS'd with all week or weekend and say HELL I hada damn good time.

Come on down and show'em what you are made of !

That's so true Rick.....When I travelled for 4 hrs to Maryland the other day, I had a whole lot of fun even though the weekend was bad for me. It's all about meeting new people and getting a good laugh man.

I travel to the track from the Bronx almost every weekend, so I'm sure you'll be happy if you came down. COME GET WHAT'S LEFT OF THE NITRO FIX B4 WINTER REALLY KICKS IN.

its not as much the fact that its farther from me now then it was before, I would drive down to brooklyn for the race.

its more the fact that they changed it a week before the race to somewhere else where I have to pay tolls and spend more fuel.

Im not bashing anyone, Im just gonna sit this race out, Im not prepared to drive 240miles in days days for a race on a weeks notice.

good luck in the races

I think they should see what happens.

last sunday there was forecasted rain for bpt and it drizzled for like 3 minutes then stopped.

so hopefully they go on with the race and only cancell if it starts pouring.

good luck everyone.

oh btw anyone running a Team Magic G4S in this race? or is it gonna be all mugen?

Default $4.00

$4.00 In tolls, and we play with $1000.00 toy cars. 1 glow plug can cover toll expenses. i've driven over 45 miles 1way to bridgeport many, many times just to practice not even race.

Oh well, not sure who you are but sorry the move of the race is the deciding factor to you not racing this weekend.

oh n/m I just checked it again and for NYC its possible rain saturday and sunday, since its both days maybe it should be postponed?

but then again next weekend it might be in the 30's and snowing......

here you go

http://www.weather.com/weather/weeke...nav_undeclared

hopefully it will be ok, the sunday forecast is identical to the forecast in BPT last sunday and it was fine.

Once again good luck everyone

see the problem is I dont have many spares incase I wreck, and if it was in bpt, I live right up the street from the track, therefore it would not have been a waste to race, now thats its in floyd I find it a waste if I go that distance wreck then have no parts to fix my car.

Like I said earlier I would go to floyd its not the driving thats keeping me fron going its my situation.....

so can we switch the subject? you have a big race coming up no sense in wasting time talking about why I'm not going
