Hmmm....to name a few: Delrin Diff gears, reverse lock nuts and tie rods for the rear toe linkage, or they might be using the new rear suspension, probably something special going on with the fuel tank and fuel pressure system. The main thing would be the Delrin diff gears, when I ran the NTC3 with a Richey RB RTU the diff gears just couldn't handle the power of the engine. Strip baby! Strip! lol.

NTC3NUT,
Dont think Barry Baker is running a stock NTC3 car that you can get at your LHS!!

Team Driver has all the hook ups!!

Here's a pic that was taken a few months back if you don't believe I have a NTC3: http://www.pbase.com/image/12928603/large

At the moment it's in a box in peices. A great handling car, but the drivetrain is way too weak for any serious horsepower. The MTX-3 is how a nitro sedan should be built IMO.

I saw barry's car, it didn't look different visually from the regular ntc3.

hehehe, he's just mad that the home team didn't get the win on their home track. Barry must be tired racing two weekends in a row.

Default Congrats to Barry

Guess, it wasn't just a lucky race or 2. This time is was against mugen's top dog too. Don't get me wrong, I am not putting down mugens or Osaka, who is one hell of a driver, but all the negatives about the ntc3, should be laid to rest. IT IS ONE HELL OF A CAR, despite some minor shortfalls

Ummm....first off I'm not mad that Serpent didn't win in 200mm, I hate Serpent anyway lol. Secondly, If I was mad which I'm not, I would be mad that Osaka made a slight mistake and lost to Barry Baker at the very end.

Yeah. We have found that Araldite is great for engine work. It is the only substance that we know of that doesnt come loose with the Nitro and Oil mixture. Great for making ramps in the crank too.

Osaka turned in too fast and hit the guard rail rolling his car with 2 minutes to go, but i'm sure Barry would of made it around him anyway as he was about 3 inches from Osaka the entire time.

oh yeah and andy, not really great at starting up an conversation but i was there on friday, great job.
Was Osaka leading all the way until he hit the rail or was the lead changing. If he was, then the statement made by the ntc3 won't be that loud but although i would probably never get one a win is a win and that is two in a row in the big international races.

If we are to believe the snake report then bragging rights will be much louder by salven.He supposedly lead all the way and wasn't challenged and he was up against world class competition.So now the cowntdown begins till the worlds;

"OSAKA VS SALVEN----MRX3 VS 950"

To book call your nearest pay per view subscriber,"when the dust settles who will be the last man standing........"

We need the 2003 Worlds to be televised, whether it be Speed TV, ESPN, or PPV anyone of them would be cool! I think a petition started for something like this on ESPN a while back, but nothing ever happened.

this is Mike Meyers's report off starting grid...

In the 200mm class Barry Baker built up a three to four lap lead, but
with nobody pressuring him, and Barry on cruise mode, he made a mistake
and the steering and throttle linkage came off his NTC3. This was
quickly fixed in the pits, but Barry lost his lead to Ralph and Kenji.
Barry took off trying to make up lost ground. Ralph meanwhile had
tuning problems, costing him the lead. As the race neared the end, it
was Barry fighting Kenji. Barry seemed to have more power, and as the
two cars entered the 180 in front of timing and scoring, Kenji bumped
the board and rolled over, as Barry stayed clean and took a commanding
lead for the few remaining minutes.
