Well...I finally ran my NTC-3 today with the RD Logics "turbo" pipe, and it was a treat! Engine kept a solid tune and ran the tank bone-dry every time. The only thing that concerns me is the vulnerability of the rather longish stinger. Both myself and a buddy of mine brushed the wall bordering the track (Delta Raceway), and both of the stinger outlets were damaged in such a way as to noticeably restrict exhaust flow and limit top-end speed. My friend managed to open his back up, while I took the Dremel to mine and trimmed the very tip of it off. Otherwise, a very nicely-built pipe with impressive performance to back up its looks.

Oh, for the record, the engine is the Ofna/Picco 7-port turbo.

There is a guy selling the pipes on ebay for prett cheap. Type in "ntc3 pipe" as search and you will see both normal and Turbo pipes for a good price.

Bolisario,

I ran the pipe at Revelations yesterday and so far I'm very impressed. I ran it while breaking in my Gen 2 Sirio and the pipe was very responsive on the top and bottom. Even during break in I noticed an increase in top speed compared to the AE dual chamber and the idle was very consistent. I'll open her up this week and see how she does.

Frani,

Thanks for the extra parts yesterday. The pipe is working out very well. When my motor was at 190-200, the car really came to life. Hopefully, it will be okay in Vegas. Maybe I'll see you down there. Thanks again!

Default Speedline

Thanks again Ken.
Tennessee didn't get to race due to last minute work obligations.
I made the A in both 1/8th and sedan but had problems in both mains. Cars ran good and am looking forward to the regionals at Revelation where my sedan is real good.
Thanks!

Hi, Brad:

You are welcome, I got your message and was busy earlier. I will reply it later. I know there are a lot racers this time. you still make A main, you did a good job. As what you said, looking forward to the regionals, Tell Tennessee that I know both of you guys will make it in Regional.

How is the 1/8 Body Lola?

Thanks
Ken

Default 1/8th Lola

I thought it was very well balanced. I ran the Mugen body in only one qualifier and switched back to RD body. I even ran it without stiffners which I will try next time.

Good job at speedline line, sucks that you had car trouble though.

Next up for Team RD, Regionals!
