Default new track in Saint Louis.....Evolution Raceway

Just wanted to show off our new track to the nitro on-road crowd. We are having a two day race this weekend and also hosting the MID-Missouri On-road Nitro Challenge on September 16th and 17th.

The track is top notch. Smooth black asphalt, painted layout, minimal boards, expertly layed out curbing, CAD designed layout with 20ft wide straight with sweeper for a total of 300ft lenth, 15ft infield lanes, pit lane and pit boxes, 30ft long drivers stand elevated 12 ft. Checkout www.evolutionraceway.com for more info and pics.

prior to curbs....

Default Thanks for the complements!

Where working on a Midwest Series Race for 07. As of now we have a Heart of America series race secured for next season. Plus we'll have the Mid-MO nitro challenge yearly. We also have a bid in for the 07 Sedan Nats.

That looks beautiful. I wish we had something like that for 1/8th scale on-road in our area.

Everyone, my family and I consider this our home track even though its 3 hours there and then 3 hours back for a club race. We love this track. They run a good program and are just a good bunch of racers. I tell you, they have some fast people there too.

Mark, hope you have recovered from the Dekalb incident!
If I can get some others interested, I will come down before the season ends.
My only complaint with the 'painted on tracks' is; they never change! I would get kinda bored running on the same layout week after week.
Will there ever be new layouts? Anually? Every 2 yrs? Never?
Anyway, it's Awsome.... Hope to see you soon.

Yes I have recovered from the Dekalb fiasco (running a Ninja now). As far as the layout is concerned it will probably change. Certainly not every 6 months or anything like that, but it will change.
