When i ask the employee at elite to show me the new turbo illegal pipe, the price tag on the box was 59.99. Then i ask him if it was really 60bucks, he said yes.
Maybe Ian hasn't inform him about the price they are selling at..

But anyways, your pipes are great and at a very reasonable price.

You can run a "turbo" pipe on any engine, it will probably increase the power. Turbo pipes are not ROAR legal because of the stinger ID size (I was told a while back the chamber holes are also larger than legal pipes, but I don't know for sure). I don't think it has anything to do with pipe shape. I run turbo pipes unless I'm at a sanctioned event. They do have better top end.

Turbo engines are not ROAR legal either.

I measured my pipes a little while ago. My R/B Outlaw pipes have a 6.2mm ID stinger. My R/B ROAR pipe has 5.4mm ID stinger & EXACTLY the same shape as the outlaw pipes. My GTI ROAR pipe has 5.3mm ID stinger, my Novarossi ROAR pipes have 5.4mm ID stinger. That's why I don't understand how R/D Logics can have a ROAR legal "Turbo" pipe??????

Super G tires are a brand of tire distibuted through Speedline Racing. I have been running them pretty much exclusively on my TC and 1/8 cars for almost 2 years. I LOVE THEM & they're reasonably priced. Every now and then, I'll try a few different brands, but I always go back to Super G because of the quality & price. There are a few slightly better tires out there, but I can't justify their prices compared to the VERY marginal performance difference over the Super Gs. I'm attempting to test some Nitro Shoes and some tires made by a guy in Norfolk. I can get both for about the same price as the Super Gs. From what I've seen with the Nitro Shoes, I like them a lot, except for how easy the rims break in the cold.

We have two kind of Turbo Pipe, one is legal and other one is outlaw. The legal one's stringer is 5MM and the out law one is 6mm. I believe this will answer your question (Why our pipe is Roar Legal)

Thanks for the reply!! But I still don't get it, what makes it a "turbo" pipe if only has a 5mm stinger?? The terms "Turbo" and "Outlaw" are kind of interchangeable to describe pipes that aren't ROAR legal. I'm not trying to give you a hard time. I plan to buy one of your pipes, but I want to make sure I get the one I need.

teskrsq we have a new pipe and the branding of turbo did
cause confusion the new pipe does have a 5mm stinger.
it is basically a shorter pipe with a with a fatter barrell
it does improve the top end alot with out sacrificing or noticable
bottom end loss. I see what you mean with the turbo branding
but it had to called that due to the time we released it. it was
still pending ifmar approval and did not want to advertise that
it is approved

Oh next time I need to show you my other modified 3 port engine, we call it MTO, bottom and mid is about the same as the engine I was running today, Top end is just a little bit shy of the S5!
