Here is what this race is for:

With over 1400 members, St. Alban's Boys' and Girls' Club meets the challenges and needs of Toronto inner-city children and youth in the Seaton Village, Annex, Frankle-Lambert and Palmerston neighbourhoods. St. Alban’s offers a number of exciting programs and services including: a daycare, child/parent programs, summer camp, outreach services, public swimming times, aquatic lessons, after school care, sports programs, computer skills, arts programs, youth drop in programs, a homeless shelter, prevention and education, tutoring, mentoring, community and skill based programs

This is a good cause, and its being held at the best Onroad track in Ontario.
I cant think of anything better.

TROPHY RACE PLUS FREE LUNCH AND OVER $1000 WORTH OF DOOR PRIZES!!!

Race Date: Sunday, September 17th, 2006

Where: ONTARIO 1/8 ON ROAD RACING CLUB
75 Frid Street, Hamilton, Ontario, Canada

Featuring these racing classes:

1/8 Open 4wd, 200mm Nitro Sedan, 1/10 Open 4wd & 5th Scale

First Class Entry Fee: $25.00 CDN ($22 USD)
Additional Classes: $15.00 CDN ($13 USD) per class

Schedule:
8-9am: Registration, Open Practice, 3 Rounds of Qualifying & Mains

ROAR membership required (available trackside)

ROAR Membership - $30.00 USD ($35.00 CD)

The Ontario 1/8 On Road Racing Club uses the AMBrc Personal Transponder System.

INS Air Filters wil be required on all 1/8 Open Lola, WSC & GTP style bodies (available trackside)

This is for a good cause people. Just think about it, Racing on a fantastic track all day, and while doing so, we are helping children.
Man, I wish every weekend was like that.

We have to keep this thread alive, this is for a good cause.

200MM, Outlaw 10th, 8th scale and 5th scale.
This race has everything a big kid could want.
So dont think about it, just come out and race....thats all you need to do. Oh, and have fun.
