You are going to get a lot of different answers to this question, but get a long stroke hotmod... Novarossi N12LS3 hotmod.

For high speed (long straight) track....definitely need top HP and high rev engine....Nova Rossi plus 12 3C, you can have JP mod, or Murnan Mod...ceremic options, crank and sleeve mod....around $400 out the door.
They have OS 12TZ mod....for like $300...

Assuming money is no object for you.....

There are 3 engines I am considering. Could any of you give some facts and opinions on the following 3:

Max Power Fantini Tuned 3 port

O.S. TZ Speed

Novarossi N12LS3 hotmod

Also, since the Max Power is a NovaRossi, what is the difference between the two? Or, is there no difference?

I am currently running the non tuned Max Power and am very happy with the performance. But, I am going to purchase a mod motor soon and am looking for some feedback.

Thanks

Franco, I'm assuming you are getting motor for regional? I can tell you and you can spread the words in case guys fear what motor I'll be running at regional.....

I'll be running a bone stock Sirio EVO3 STI and I'll just do pipe tuning for the most power. Last year at regional I ran a bone stock EVO3 and went up against Jp mod, Mega mod motors and I was pulling a lot more people down the straight at SARCAR.

I'd ran my JP T03 full option at Timezone and it wasn't a faster motor then my Sirio EVO3.

Thanks Franco. This will probably be my last big race for awhile.

Honestly, Mega motors are fast right out of the box. If I do not choose to run my Sirio, Mega will be my next choice. The Timezone track might seem big but the all out mod motors actually don't do too well there vs. your mid-line motors. Since we are on throttle so much, fuel consumption, temperature and power will require a delicate balance!
